Excursion SUV to Chegaga

We leave Hotel “Chez le Pacha” in Mhamid at 09:00 and head in the direction of the Chegaga desert. The trip goes past the old caravan route to the holy oasis. After only a few kilometres you will already be surrounded by the sea of sand, but our guides, Houssine and Salah, will be there to welcome and escort you.

After another short walk you will reach the summit of the big dune, from which you can witness the expanse of the desert. After a lunch in the restaurant tent we travel back via Wadi EL AATACH. Our return to the Hotel “Chez le Pacha” in Mhamid is in the late afternoon.
